Do you like penpalling ? I do :) especially snail-mail. I started penpalling since 2002. I love getting letters around the world . Some of my penpals have been penpalling for over 10 years, it's long time, isn't it ? *^-^*
Snail-mail has some good points ( according to my experience )
1. to know and meet new friends both from the same country and different countries as well as learn about their cultures and traditions.
2. to enhance your language skills (often English) or you can exchange your own language with your penpals.
3. to swap something like stamps, postcards, stationeries...etc.
Let's see some bad points
1. You have to pay for the postage or letter sets ( especially cute letter sets ).
2. Sometimes, your letters might get lost on the way or it takes sooo long to reach your penpals.
3. ( My opinion ) you have to try reading your penpal's handwriting in case his or her handwriting is difficult to read ( for example, my handwriting ^^"...)
Well, if you want to find someone to write, how to get started ? It's easy, just go to penpal websites and search for penpals that seems interesting to you, write message/e-mail them or you can post your profile on the websites. If you're interested , please see on a Link page ^^
